BEN ALSOP
Ben Alsop is originally from Western Massachusetts and has made pictures for as long as he can remember. When he was 10 years old he found articles on Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind in a 70’s edition of Art In America, after that he devoured every photography book he could find.After apprenticing in metal workshop with a sculptor, Ben moved to New York to work in film and photography, assisting photographers and directors before heading out on his own in 2008.
Interested both in nature and technology, Ben uses light, color and structure to create narratives through pictures.
